B&D Concrete Cutting was founded in 1988 by its current President, Michael Tackett. Tackett has been in the concrete cutting industry since 1979, working within the nuclear construction field for six years,
serving as a field superintendent, and then project manager.
His experience within management for all phases of construction led him back to the concrete industry where he began B&K (now B&D Concrete Cutting) and utilized his experience and knowledge for approaching every job with genuine care and concern for both end results and customer service for each of our clients.
Tackett's commitment to the concrete industry and client relations has served in gaining B&D Concrete Cutting a permanent place within the Atlanta Construction Industry.
B&D Concrete Cutting guarantees outstanding safety precaution and procedures with every contract. Attending weekly mandatory safety orientations led by our in-house safety department, B&D staff and personnel are equipped with heavily enforced rules and regulation for creating and maintaining "safety first" jobsites.
With safety being our highest priority for our employees and customers alike, B&D conducts frequent jobsite safety inspections for addressing job-specific safety concerns. Furthermore, we do monthly screenings and drug tests on each of our employees, commiting our workplace to that of a designated, drug-free zone.
Concrete being one of the most durable of all building materials, it is also the most difficult and dangerous to remove; therefore, B&D follows all safety and risk management policy for assuring a hazard free work zone. Please leave the difficult and dangerous work to us.
