Taxiway 'A' and 'J' Pavement Improvements

Peachtree Dekalb Airport is a general aviation reliever airport for the Atlanta metropolitan area, providing service for the smaller general aviation aircraft, reducing air carrier airport congestion.  B&D Concrete Cutting subcontracted concrete cutting and removal services to J.M. Wilkerson for the removal of approximately 14,600 sq ft of 11" thick concrete panels in 25' x 25' slabs.   Services included saw cutting and removal in 6' x 8' sections for machine removal, where as there was no breaking done on the runway.  Demolition and disposal was done off of the runway in a staging area, and debris was cleaned and disposed of with the use of a ditch witch.

B&D finished each job ahead of schedule, saving money and time for the end-user, and all FAA quality assurance guidelines were met.
